Ocean Eco Adventures is owned and operated by Andy Edwards and Marnie Hunt. Their love of the ocean, the marine environment of Western Australia and its wilderness values led them to establish the company in 2003. Their vision for their eco-tourism business operating in what they fondly call “the last frontier” is to maintain as much of the natural heritage as possible so their clientele may experience the areas they operate in their natural glory. They believe the aboriginal spiritual history of Western Australia shared on their tours is not only integral to a complete visitor experience but also a genuine acknowledgment of the aboriginal people, their history and their traditional ownership of the lands now co-inhabited by others.
Andy, Marnie and their passionate team believe in the protection and conservation of all oceans of the world. They understand the environment is already under threat due to human impacts and that responsible eco-tourism has a significant role to play in the sustainable management and survival of oceans of the world.
The mission statement of the company is to develop and deliver high quality, safe, non intrusive nature based tours with an emphasis on education and protection of the ocean. Andy and Marnie believe that Western Australia has the opportunity to continue its development into a world leading sustainable nature based tourism destination and wish to contribute to that development by conducting “world best practice” tours to showcase Western Australia’s outstanding natural attributes. All cruises are delivered with passion, integrity and style.
The Ocean Eco Adventures team look forward to sharing some of the amazing places they operate in with you. Open your eyes, open your heart and enjoy the magic that nature has to offer.
