Swim with Humpback Whale Survey 2019

Help us to continue to improve the swim with humpback whale experience!

Your feedback is important to us.

Dear visitor,
Recently you undertook a swim with humpback whale tour with Ocean Eco Adventures, a licensed tour operator with the department, in Ningaloo Reef Marine Park. Swimming with humpback whales is part of a trial that requires visitor feedback to assist with determining the success of the trial. We are seeking your assistance as part of the trial. This survey is being conducted in partnership with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, Murdoch University and the swim with humpback whale tour operators of Ningaloo Marine Park.

By completing this short survey you will help us to assess the visitor experience in relation to swimming with humpback whales in the Ningaloo Marine Park, to inform adaptive management, identify growth opportunities for the local tourism sector, and options for improving the conservation and management of humpback whales.

Simply click on the button above to answer some questions related to your recent swim with humpback whale experience.

If you made the booking on behalf of more than one group, please feel free to share this email with others that went on the swim with humpback whale tour with you.

If you have any queries regarding the survey, please contact Dr Amanda Smith, Parks and Visitor Services Division on (08) 9219 8225;

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas.

Kind regards,
Ningaloo Marine Park Staff and Management
