When visiting the Ningaloo Reef, preparation should be simple — not stressful. That’s exactly how we design every day at Ocean Eco Adventures.

We take care of almost everything on board so you can focus on what really matters — incredible wildlife encounters, relaxed time on the water, and a truly unforgettable ocean experience.

🐠 What We Provide Onboard

One of the biggest advantages of joining our tours is just how much is included. Most guests are surprised at how little they actually need to bring.

🤿 Snorkelling Equipment & Comfort Gear

We provide high-quality, professionally maintained equipment, including:

  • Masks, snorkels & fins in a full range of sizes (including children)

  • Floatation aids for confidence in the water

  • Prescription masks for guests who need them

  • Complimentary wetsuits and/or lycra suits

Our crew fit all equipment onboard to ensure comfort, safety, and confidence before entering the water.

☀️ Sun Protection & Reef-Safe Sunscreen

We provide reef-safe sunscreen onboard, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own if you don’t want to.

To keep you comfortable throughout the day on the Ningaloo Reef, we also recommend:

  • Wearing a hat and sunglasses

  • Applying sunscreen regularly during the day

  • Bringing a light cover-up for extra protection

Our goal is to make it easy to enjoy a full day on the water while also protecting the reef environment we operate in.

🍽 Gourmet Dining — Including Local Exmouth Prawns

We are the only company in the region offering a full gourmet dining experience throughout the day.

Guests enjoy:

  • Breakfast on boarding

  • Morning tea

  • Buffet-style lunch

  • Afternoon tea & snacks

  • Dietary requirement options available

And yes — you read that right.

One of the highlights is a fresh platter of locally and sustainably caught Exmouth prawns served with lunch, showcasing the best of the region.

🥂 Celebration Drinks

After your wildlife encounters, relax and celebrate with:

  • A complimentary glass of sparkling wine, beer, or soft drink

A perfect way to toast your day on the reef.

📸 Free Professional Photos of Your Day

Your entire experience is captured by our crew so you can stay fully present in the moment.

You’ll receive:

  • Complimentary professional photos (valued at $75 AUD)

  • Full-day coverage from departure through wildlife encounters

  • Online gallery access within 24 hours

  • Unlimited downloads

No need for waterproof cameras — we’ve got it covered.

☕ Drinks & Hydration All Day

We provide complimentary beverages throughout the day, including:

  • Premium coffee

  • Herbal and black teas

  • Cold water

All drinking water onboard is produced via our onboard desalination systems, meaning there’s no need for bottled water — helping reduce single-use plastics and protect the reef environment.

🚐 Transfers & Shade Comfort

We also provide:

  • Informative transfer service to and from your accommodation

  • Shaded deck areas for comfort between activities

  • Easy, stress-free boarding and disembarkation

Everything is designed to make your day seamless from start to finish.

🌊 What You Should Still Bring

Even though we provide most essentials, there are a few personal items we recommend:

  • Swimwear (worn under clothes)

  • A change of dry clothes for the end of the day

  • Towel

  • Hat and sunglasses

  • Light cover-up or jacket (essential in winter months)

  • Seasickness tablets (if required)

  • Reusable water bottle (optional but encouraged)

We also recommend applying reef-safe sunscreen before boarding to protect both your skin and the marine environment.

🎒 Optional Extras (If You Want to Be Extra Prepared)

While we provide almost everything you’ll need for your day on the Ningaloo Reef, there are a few optional items some guests like to bring for extra comfort and convenience.

These are not essential, but can enhance your experience:

  • A small dry bag for personal valuables (phone, wallet, keys)

  • Lip balm with SPF for sun protection

  • Hair ties or clips (especially for long hair in the water)

  • A waterproof phone pouch if you’d like to keep your phone close

  • Prescription snorkel masks (if you prefer your own fit)

  • Camera or GoPro if you want to video the experience yourself
